The Group Manager IT, Upstream & Exploration is responsible for transforming the strategic direction and development of Upstream & Exploration specific technologies in order to deliver the required range of specialist services that enable the business unit objectives. To achieve this outcome the Group Manager IT, Upstream & Exploration ensures the effectiveness and high performance of six areas critical to Upstream & Exploration’s success:

• Upstream & Exploration IT Strategy

• Upstream and Exploration IT (incl. JVs)

• Upstream IT group Application Development and Support

• Upstream IT group IT Projects

• Upstream IT Service Delivery

Key Responsibilities include:

• Develop Upstream & Exploration IT strategy in alignment with Business Unit and group strategy

• Build and lead the relationships/ engagement with the Upstream executive and leadership group

• Own the communication with the business around IT services, costs and needs
